the hosts were super cute with fresh coffee upon arrival. oddly, public areas felt cramped.

Great and lovely location, close to pubs and bars. Appreciated fairly quiet area.

The breakfast was excellent, reasonably priced. The location was excellent and brilliant, just next door to the Scottish Borders as well as Edinburgh and nice towns as Melrose or Jedburgh, greatly enjoyed this place. It also was close to many attractions.

I had a genuinely great experience at this little B&B, with its wonderful hosts providing fresh milk for my room each evening, and its close proximity to lovely places like Carolside Gardens and Alfonso's, just a short stroll away.

Friendly hosts offered good breakfast options, but noise from the street affected our sleep quality.

This place is absurd. I've never encountered such unfathomable rigidity in breakfast selection, like I'm stuck in a time capsule! Plus, the external bathroom was quite the inconvenience, who thought that'd be a fun idea? I should have asked for an upgrade, but alas, here we are. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The breakfast was absolutely delightful with a great variety. The room was cozy and clean. One downside was having to use outside bathroom, which was less convenient. a nice stay! 😀

The hosts, Stuart, Sylvia, and Tracey, were cute, even offering a much-needed cup of tea upon arrival! With a good breakfast including a fantastic full Scottish option and various cereals, I left each morning filled with contentment. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders, with the local River Leader just a five-minute walk away, offering gorgeous riverside walks.

Separate bathrooms can feel inconvenient. Nearby traffic noise disrupts tranquility. Downstairs room lacks a view, being adjacent to the parking lot, which might not be ideal for longer stays.

All good, fulfills its purpose. The family-run hotel provides a warm welcome, and the really good touch of fresh milk in the room each day elevates the experience.

The breakfasts were excellent, fueling us for days spent exploring castles and playing golf. The location makes it easy to access multiple attractions. Plus, the hospitality was on point with each room providing fresh milk for late-night drinks!

One downside was the external private shower across the landing, which could be inconvenient at times .

The location offered was great and incredibly close to the Scottish Borders and coastal towns like Melrose, St Boswells, Selkirk, and Jedburgh. I liked the perfectly clean rooms with a large bathroom across the landing.
