Friendly hosts offered good breakfast options, but noise from the street affected our sleep quality.

This place is absurd. I've never encountered such unfathomable rigidity in breakfast selection, like I'm stuck in a time capsule! Plus, the external bathroom was quite the inconvenience, who thought that'd be a fun idea? I should have asked for an upgrade, but alas, here we are. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The room was impressively clean and cozy, complete with a nice touch of fresh milk provided each evening. The hosts, Stuart, Sylvia, and Tracey, were cute, even offering a much-needed cup of tea upon arrival! With a good breakfast including a fantastic full Scottish option and various cereals, I left each morning filled with contentment. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders, with the local River Leader just a five-minute walk away, offering gorgeous riverside walks.
Slight traffic noise.

Clean, compact room. Freshly cooked breakfast options. Cute atmosphere with attentive breakfast service.
Separate bathrooms can feel inconvenient. Nearby traffic noise disrupts tranquility. Downstairs room lacks a view, being adjacent to the parking lot, which might not be ideal for longer stays.
